“ What a lovely surprise - went on a Sunday looking for a carvery but end up having the best meal I have had at a restaurant in years (it just happened to be Turkish!). Lovely warm, relaxed atmosphere and just brilliant food cooked with care. Kids meals are delicious and great value too. “ I arrived too late for dining but I heard nothing but praise from the other dinners as they departed. All the staff were very welcoming, as were the regulars ( thank you Jimmy - Jock) Timothy Taylors Landlord was the pint of choice. Decor and cleanliness was in very good order. Only a 5 minute walk to the airport, easily accessible to the major routes, withe car parking. A nice touch was a nod to the former RAF Middleton St.George and it's wartime history with three photographs in the entrance ”

“ 100% the best Turkish restaurant I've been to in years. We went to The Oak Tree Inn on our last day at the International Fire Training Centre, after the meal I wished we'd gone there on our first. The service, ambience and importantly the food was outstanding. The owner whose name I didn't ask greeted us with a warm welcoming smile as did the hostess. I can't thank you guys enough for making what was an arduous working week rememberable for all the right reasons. I promised we'd be back in 2yrs time and we will. I only wished I lived closer. Having never ate here before he explained the menu wonderfully and had fantastic knowledge of the ingredients and cooking methods. The food was divine – bursting with authentic Turkish cuisine flavour and clearly made with care. Both the starters and main meals were generously portioned and very reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. They really made us feel at home. The pint was spot on too – fresh and well-poured. There’s plenty of parking, which is always a bonus, and the kids' play area was fantastic – safe, fun, and a great way to keep the little ones entertained. It’s a very child-friendly place, perfect for families. Dog friendly too and walking distance to Teeside airport terminal. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! ”

“ As a family of 4 plus a 3 year old we were delighted to see choices for all of the family. We had excellent service from the time we arrived until the time we left, nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very attentive. 3 of us chose the mixed kebab which was delicious. The lamb was particularly lovely and was tender and succulent. It was served with rice and a lovely fresh salad. The other meal was chicken and it tasted fantastic. The food was all beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. We all finished our meals and all agreed we would definitely be back again soon! Thank you for a lovely experience. ”
